Great dive bar, simple and easy. Beer is on tap and cold! Cash is king here. Road my dirt bike over and felt right at home in all my gear. The indoor area is 21 and up only, there's a patio area with seats for younger guests.

The Iron Door Bar in Ocotillo Wells is the kind of place that proves you can’t judge a book by its cover—or a bar by its...well, dumpiness. Yes, it’s in the middle of nowhere, but that’s half the charm. The staff? Awesome. The beer? Five solid taps, plus a treasure trove of cans and bottles to keep any beer lover happy. And the pepperoni pizza? Let’s just say it’s so good it might be the true ‘hidden gem’ of East County. A quirky oasis worth the dusty drive! Bonus points for taking credit cards. Did I mention it’s in the middle of nowhere?!?

Always a great time at the Iron Door Bar. Pool is free, beer's are cold . Be ready to post a dollar on the wall, ceiling or wherever in the Bar. Sharpie pen is there to write on the bill. One must go exsperiance the Door ! Lots of good times been had there.

A desert adventurer's oasis. Many a weary "Stagecoacher" and adventure rider take comfort at the Iron Door. The crew here are some of the most thoughtful folks making sure you've got a cold soda or beer (or both) and a hot pizza in your belly before rolling out. On a recent desert tour I rolled into the Iron Door and found it open with a crockpot of ham hocks and beans at 11am on Christmas day. And you can count on the crew to give you some good trail beta and other intel. After a tough slog through the washes, this is one stop you don't want to miss.

Awesome little place to stop and have a cold one! Retro and about as old school and original as you can get! Owner is a great dude very friendly and definitely brings the place up even more! Free popcorn even! Check it out

The iron door is a little bar out in the desert. Friendly people lots of character!... You can play pool or just hang out at the bar. have a couple beers. I was there one day before St Patrick's Day. Definitely worth going out and checking it out if you're in the area. And have a Budweiser ...

Iron Door is the ultimate pit stop for refreshments pizza and laughs in the desert! Pedal through the loosie sand and refuel with their mouthwatering pizzas and refreshing drinks. The staff is as funny as they are friendly, making every visit a memorable one. So, next time you're in the area, swing by Iron Door for a slice of happiness maybe play some pool! Don't forget to pin a dollar bill in the wall (if you find an empty space)
